Dreamy yet edgy maternity shoot

I've dedicated myself to get back into blogging because I realized, it really is the only way I can show the world what I do.

If you don't already know, I'm just your small business owner who started her Wedding Planning Career about 4 years ago. But what most of you don't know is that I've started getting my feet wet in the industry back in 2006 with photography.

I may not be your glamorous photographer that most of you see in featured magazines and pinterest. But why not utilize the skills and talent that was given to me. I see myself specializing in other outlets like engagement, family, lifestyle, new born, boudoir, and maternity.

Speaking of maternity, that is what I will focus on for this post.

I had the pleasure of working as a wedding coordinator with this beautiful momma to be when her and her husband were getting married last year. Now they are embarking a new chapter and soon to bring a new bundle of joy.

What started as a sweet family and maternity shoot turned into a combination of dreamy, edgy and a little bit of boudoir in the mix. It was a great way to make her feel and look confident and I couldn't be happier.

Without further adieu, hope you enjoy

18th Birthday Shades of Pink

It has been quite some time since I've worked an event like this. I forgot how similar an 18th birthday is to a wedding when it came to expenses, decor and quality. I've had the pleasure in creating a vision for a princess who is all grown up as well as working with the parent's budget to still make it look magical. For the main decor, I created some paper flowers, mason jars to accent the tables and using various shades of pink. Without further adieu, here are some photos from last nights event.

Happy Valentines!

I've had such a pleasure working on various projects for this special holiday. Some say Americans spend millions even a couple billions on flowers. Personally I admire flowers but I don't have a green thumb so I always prefer anything that was a keepsake. This year, I managed to make that happen for a few special clients. Here are some photos of some items I made.

BE MINE

Valentines is less than a month away and what better way to celebrate with personalized decor. Sure you can go to your local party store but it won't look the same. Celebrate with someone special or host a party. No matter what you decide to do, do it with style.  Feel free to take a look at some projects I've been working on. If you're interested in any of our supplies, feel free to visit my etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/OdinevaDesignStudio) or send me an email. I would love to help you style your event.

Wedding decor

Ahh... the never ending decisions of wedding decor. Let's just say that if you're trying to decide a specific theme, color and style for your wedding, you are not alone. Decorations are really what makes a wedding beautiful. Your venue is important too but especially if you're on a budget, it's time to start being creative. I posted a sneak preview on some of the wedding decor I'm designing and styling. Hope you enjoy!

Whether it's a candle holder, party favor or snack container anything is possible to build out of paper.

Succulents are so popular as wedding favors and decor that double up as a great household item. Not to mention, they're very low maintenance.

No matter what you decide, challenge yourself to do something different. Something that will fit your style. Creativity is key. Your guests will never stop talking about the details. If creating and working on projects isn't your forte or within your schedule, well then .... you know who to contact :)

Wedding Season is here...

My favorite time of year is always when wedding season comes around. Although technically weddings happen all year round. I'm super ecstatic for the couples out there planning their special day. Whenever I'm involved in the wedding process whether it be the engagement or even just the coordination, I always do my best to make it the most memorable and unique for each and every couple.

Currently, I'm helping a newly engaged couple with venue shopping as well as full coordination and designing. Thank you Natasha and Matt for I feel honored to be a part of this process. Odineva Events + Design has so much to offer and with this being my first blog post, I hope you enjoy my future posts. I'm not one to write much however I love to take photos because I feel they speak for itself.

Well here you go bloggers. Enjoy!
